Nyukani Education Centre hails the “Magnificent 11′
School gives computers to its high achievers

Nyukani Education Centre at Homu village ln Giyani on Thursday fulfilled it’s commitment to give laptops to its high achievers.
It is a long-standing commitment that any learners who gets more than 4 distinctions in the grade 12 examination will receive a laptop.

A total of 11 learners achieved the feat and received awards.
Vutomi Maluleke was the best learner after achieving a 90 per cent pass and six distinctions.
Others who got six distinctions were Ndzalo Mahlaule who also got 88, 7 per cent, Courtney Nyambi with 87,3 per cent and Malaika Chauke with 86,4 per cent.
Six other awardees were those who got five distinctions.
They are Phatimani Makamu (85 per cent), Tumisho Bopape (84 per cent), Nsovo Nkuna (84 per cent), Blessing Mathebula (79,3 per cent), Andisile Chauke (78,7per cent), Xihlovo Maluleke (78 per cent) and Faneriwa Chabalala (74 per cent).
The founder of the school Dr Tirhani Mabunda praised the school principal Ticharwa Jainos Jainos and his staff for the excellent results.
He said it was the first time that Nyukani had received a 100 per cent pass rate.
But he said although in the past the school did not pass all the learners he was satisfied because of its quality results.
“We are receiving a positive feedback from top universities..Our learners do not need bridging courses to cope with their university studies,” he said.
He said five of the 11 awardees have been admitted at the University of Cape Town.
