Bishop Ntsako Eric Maluleke, of the Philadelphia Worship Centre at Madonsi has told aspirant pastors to go to school or forget about being pastors.
Bishop Maluleke was speaking as the programme director on Saturday during the ceremony at Mbatlo in the Greater Giyani Local municipality in which the Worship International Cathedral International led by Bishop MW Ngoveni was ordaining 17 new pastors.
Bishop Maluleke took his time to tell the new ones what they are up against.

“Anyone who wants to be a pastor in today’s world must go to school or forget,” he said.
The Village Voice later asked him to explain his remarks and he said:”There are many young pastors who rush to ministry before they are prepared academically. Times have changed and so are people. People today are critical mf what is happening in the church so there must be a balance between the calling and the church administration,” he said.
He said:” I know you have been called but go to school.”

Bishop Ngobeni who was described as a father to the down trodden ordained the 17 pastors some of whom were outside his church but chose to submit to him.
The Terbanecle Worship Cathedral International has more than 20 branches in Limpopo, Gauteng and North West.
He showed the new pastors the ropes, saying that conducting themselves admirably is the key.
He said a man of God is someone who changed the lives of those he meets.
“When you meet the man of God your situation must turn around,” he said.
The bishop read from the book of 1 Samuel verse 9, about the story of Saul who met Samuel and his life changed.
He warned the new pastors against entertaining petty gossips in church.
“Do not listen to members, listen to God,” he stressed.
Two new pastors responded with gratitude to the bishop.
“It is not a mistake that I am being ordained by you today, it makes sense because you are patient in guiding us,” said Pastor Stanley Zitha, well-known broadcaster turned pastor. Pastor Thomas Mkhabelealso praised Bishop Ngoveni.
“We were not complete but you were patient with. We will always learn from you”he said.
