Finally, inauguration for Hosi Siyandhani

Finally, Hosi Siyandhani, real names Famanda Yusto Chabalala will be inaugurated as senior traditional leader of the Siyandhani Traditional Community.

The event takes place at Siyandhani royal ground in Giyani tomorrow.

According to the statement from the Limpopo department of cooperative governance, housing and traditional affairs, MEC Basikopo Makamu will preside over the official inauguration ceremony on behalf of premier Chupu Stan Mathabatha.

“The role of senior traditional leaders remains vital in local governance as it further strengthens the government’s commitment to achieving social cohesion and create an atmosphere condusive for economic development, particularly in relation to the rural development strategy, “runs the CoGHSTA statement.

The Siyandhani forum area comprises three blocks, namely Jim Nghalalume, Mapuve Block 18 and Siyandhani Block 19, the head kraal.

Hosi Siyandhani was recognised as a senior traditional leader dating back to August 6th 2020 when premier Mathabatha signed a recognition certificate.

The event was postponed several times on some occasions because of the Convid -19 lockdown regulations.
