Phalaborwa church leader welcomes award for God
Prophet VC Zitha, overseer of the Salvation in Christ Church at Matikoxikaya area of Phalaborwa has welcomed the award given him at the Xitsonga Gospel Music awards in Giyani over the last weekend but dedicated it to God.
Prophet was one of the ten esteemed clerics given awards for their role in society and he was the youngest.
He was represented at the event by his right hand man pastor Mudanabula who presented it to the prophet in church on Sunday. When the prophet received the award, he held it aloft and sang God”s praises “This award is not for me as the prophet but for God’s glory, ” he told the congregation.
Prophet HJ Maluleke of the Miracles of God Church at Homu 14A also received the award and so was Dr Elijah Maswanganyi the itinerant preacher from Nkowankowa in Tzaneen who has preached in many countries of the world.
Dr Mlunghisi Erasmus Malungani of the Don’t Blame God International Ministry at Mbekwana in Nwamitwa who also founded Vision Fm was also recipient. Pastor Bafana Malumane of the Worship Tabernacle Church at Mavambe in the Collins Chabale Local who is a reputable preacher was also awarded.
The other servants of God who were honoured are also men and women of substance. They are pastor Strike Manganyi of Mikondo Ya Tingwazi fame, Dr KS Maluleke, Pastor Hazel, Dr MJ Ringani and Dr KW Maswanganyi of God”s Fire Christian Centre.
