‘;’It is all systems go as far as reopening Fumani Gold Mine at M’tititi is concerned, MEC Dr Tshitereke Maibe has announced. Accompanied by Vhembe District Municipality Executive Mayor Miyelani Chauke, Dr Matibe went to M’tititi to announce the contractor that will reopen the mine, identified as Supa Precious Metals (Pty) Ltd. Dr Matibe officially handed over the contractor to Hosi M’tititi. This follows the visit to the mine by the parliamentary portfolio committee last week to check on the mine’s readiness. The mine is expected to yield 500 jobs, something that will be boon to the ;local communities under the M’tititi traditional council and neighbouring communities.
