Church gives bishop a pat on the back

The Worship Tabernacle Cathedral International has appreciated the contributions of its leader Bishop Mbhazima Wilson Ngobeni for his contributions to church and community.

The event was held at the church’s headquarters at Mavalani in Giyani on Sunday April 28.
Pastor Gezani Phineas Baloyi said in an interview with The Village Voice that the church felt it owed the bishop so much.

“The church deemed it fit to appreciate what he has done for the church and the community over the years.
“Our church has 10 branches in Limpopo, five in Gauteng and one in North West since its formation in 2009.
Bishop Ngoveni is assisting many families financially and has also financed many destitute children to go to university. He is also meets many people daily for counselling and we felt he deserved a pat on the back, and that goes for his family,”said Baloyi.

Pastor ME Baloyi said:” The event was organised by pastors born and bred TWCI. We wanted to give the bishop and mama a feedback, as necessary, as in Metthew 16: 13-20, for all what they have done,” he said
He then added:”We cannot quantify the love, passion, dedication and the amount of time and resources they are putting into God’s work. We owe them a lot.”

Arch Bishop Robert Shikwambane of the High Dimension Centre in Malamulele and Mec for cooperative governance, housing and traditional affairs in Limpopo Basikopo Makamu were amongst the speakers who gave congratulatory messages to bishop Ngoveni.

Representing all the pastors under the guidance of Bishop Ngobeni, pastor Ngomanl hailed Bishop Ngobeni for his love and sacrifices for the work of God. He said the bishop used his money for God’s work . “All pastors who work under him have gained a lot from his wisdom and he has also capacitated us such that we now attend important meetings and make significant contributions,” he said before asking God to “extend his territory .”

Bishop Ngoveni said he was happy he was being appreciated for his role in making contributions to the church and his community.
“What satisfied me most is the fact that some of the young people assisted by the church have scaled academic dizzy heights,” he said.
