Just before the dust could settle after Limpopo celebrated Mkateko Vivian Mabunda’s success, her younger sister has emerged to show she cannot also be ignored.
Mkateko Vivian Mabunda was in the news after she graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Affairs from Tshwane University of Technology.

This has sent celebrations throughout including her colleagues at DIRCO where she works.
Her younger sister Ripfumelo Success Mabunda is now attending a training course on coffee planting and processing technology in China.
She is there for 30 days.

The Village Voice spoke to her today.
“I am currently in China for a training course on coffee planting and processing technology for developing countries organised by Yunnan International Centre for Economic and Technical Exchanges (YICETE).
I have been sent by the Department of International Consular Services under the leadership of Ms Jacky Smit, Assistant Director, International Training,” she said.
She said the course aims at exchanging knowledge and skills used in China.
She says once completed she will be able to plough back and assist farmers and people wishing to start a coffee cultivation and processing business in applying necessary knowledge on soil type, climatic conditions, disease and pest management, and improving coffee cultivation in South Africa.
Her sister’s success excited the people in Limpopo especially from Ndengeza village where she was born and Lombard Village where she stays. And Success’s story will certainly be a cherry on top.
