Hlamulo Palesa Hlungwani is Miss Saselamani finalist

One of the Miss Saselamani finalists Hlamulo Palesa Hlungwani, a grade 11 learner at EPP Mhinga High in Malamulele, Limpopo Province, has gone to her former school to tell girl children they can make it. Hlamulo gave her motivational speech during the Manavela Primary school award giving ceremony on Tuesday.

She is a former learner of the school based in Roadhouse under the Shigalo Traditional Council. She said as a Miss Saselamani finalist, she decided to use the Women’s Month to reach out to the girl child.”What better way than to come to my former school and plough back,” said Hlamulo.

She gave sanitary pads to girls and presented a motivational speech. She urged girls to have dreams and to work hard to achieve them. “When you have a dream and work hard, you are bound to succeed because success follows hard work just as day follows night,” she said.

Programme director Susan Mathye praises the young girl for her message and said if she stays focused, she will reach for the stars. School principal KG Makaukau praised the young girl and said the school was proud to have produced someone like her.

“We hope that you will be a huge success in your chosen field and you will do Manavela Primary school proud,” said Makaukau Hasani Daniel Ngobeni, who represented the local traditional leadership also addressed the event and urged teachers at the school to support the school principal.
