Mzilikazi wa Africa invited to attend Grammy Awards

Award winning journalist Mzilikazi wa Africa is also making it big in the field of music. The respected journo who is from Bushbuckridge will be attending the 64th Grammy Awards in the US at the invitation of a respected music producer who has fallen in love with Mzi’s music particularly his recent CD titled Rise. The 64th Grammy Awards will be held on April 4.

Speaking to The Village Voice yesterday Mzi said he had jetted off with music colleague Philla Ndlozi after they were invited by South African born producer Trevor Noah. “During our short time in US, we shall also do recordings for a Hollywood movie,” he said. He said he was happy to see his music career going to another level. His Rise CD involved collaborations with different musicians. This a a big step up in the life of a man from Bushbuckridge whose original names are Leonald Ndukula.
