Pray for leaders, says MEC Basikopo Makamu

Limpopo MEC for Cooperative Governance, Housing and Traditional Affairs Basikopo Makamu today urged pastors to pray for the ANC.
Makamu who is the deputy secretary of the ANC in Limpopo was speaking at Mnghonghoma during the ordination of the well known advocate and Greater Giyani councillor Gezani Abby Maluleke, known as GA, as the Arch Bishop of the New Covenant Church.

Makamu said:”The ANC needs you to pray for it, if the ANC dies no party will replace it.”
He said the ANC was formed on Bloemfontein to serve African people and there is no party that will service African people the way ANC did.”Pray for, not only me, but all our leaders.” Bishop Elijah Mtileni of the Bethesda Church in Malamulele officially ordinated the new Arch Bishop.

The new Arch Bishop is also a councillor at the Greater Giyani Local Municipality heading the water, sanitation and electricity portfolio. Hosi Dzumeri, known as Hosi Divila Dzumeri said leaders must come together and pray for the country. “We have gone to the presidents and they have failed to resolve our problems and the last hope is God and it is good that we have a new Arch Bishop.
