Hosi yo Lungha, whose real names are Kaizer Shibambu who is one of the winners at the 17th edition of the Xitsonga Music Awards is excited about the win and says it is a morale booster in the tough music journey.
In an interview with The Village Voice, he said: “When you work hard it takes time but success follows hard work just as day follows night. The award is a morale booster and gives me courage to work hard.”
He did not forget to thank his producer the legendary MC Mabasa, the Munghana Lonene station, the organisers and fans who voted for him.
Hosi yo Lungha na Xirhami group scooped the 17th Xitsonga Music Awards’Best Xitsonga duo/group category.
The award has certainly come to the right person as Hosi Yo Lungha is known in the community as someone who gives to worthy causes, and the giver has become a receiver in this case.
MC Mabasa who is the producer is equally excited about the win.
