Legendary musician MC Mabasa says he bore no grudges with anyone when he was forced to leave the church he worked for for 45 years.

The musician whose real names are Morris Chuna Mabasa last Saturday officially launched his own church at Muswana, known as New Foundation.
He had been a member of the New Gallelea church which which is in the Apostolic mould for 45 years.
He has now joined the charismatic church movement.
He said everything was the work of God.

“God showed me in my dream that the senior leadership of the church would turn against me and that someone would come to me and aske do start a new church with him and that I should accept because he is genuine,” he said.
He said he later informed the leadership of the church what he saw and they assured him that was not true.

But within I week they asked him to bring all the church’s book to the church.
He said he later visited the Miracles of God Church at Homu and the leader Prophet HJ Maluleke prayed for him and also prophesied him that someone would come to him and ask to start a church with him.
“True to the dream, Bishop Gezani Thompson Hlungwani from Dzingidzingi came to my and said God told him we should start a church to together,” he said.
He said he refused several times but Got told him on a dream to believe him and they started the church a year ago and since the church started everything has fallen into place in his life.
Bishop Hlungwani also corroborated MC’s story.
Prophet Jeffrey Magomani said nobody was wrong in the saga and everything that happened was God’s will.

Veteran church man Elias Chauke also gave the new church a stamp of approval.
Pastor MC danced with his wives, who are members of his church.
“As a band we used to dance at stadiums for money. Now we are dancing for God,” he said.
