Radali praised for academic achievement

Azwihangwisi Collen Radali, senior manager economic, planning and development department at Collins Chabane Local municipality in Limpopo has been praised after achieving his Masters of Business Administration degree on record time. He is a royal and the chairperson of the Tshikonelo royal council.
Radali started doing Post Graduate Diploma in Business management on July 1 2020 and completed with distinction on July 14 2022.
Four of the modules were credited into his MBA and he completed it.The degree was conferred to him on October 8.
Last Saturday he celebrated the achievement with his community at Tshikonelo.
The guest speaker Dr Fhatuwani Lastborn Mutuvhi said Radali’s qualification is good for Collins Chabane Local municipality and other municipalities too.
“There is a perception that our municipalities are led by unqualified people. I call on you to know that senior managers at Collins Chabane Local municipality are qualified. His qualification adds significant value to the municipality,” said Dr Mutuvhi.
Dr Mutuvhi said Radial’s graduation reminded him of the government’s goal of professionalization of state, meaning the appointment of people with relevant qualifications and experience to positions.
He said as a royal himself, Radali was also building a legacy of an educated community and a legacy of educated traditional and royal council.
In his reply, Radali said: “In the beginning, juggling between work, community and family roles was not easy in the beginning and as time went on I learnt to join the journey and the attainment of the degree is testimony to it,” he said.
Limpopo MEC for Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism Rodgers Monama, Limpopo ANC Provincial secretary Reuben Madadzhe and Collins Chabane Local Municipality mayor Gezani Shadrack Maluleke gave messages of support.
They all praised Radali for his hard work.
