Makamu warns çommunities against scammers

Limpopo MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs Basikopo Makamu has warned communities against scammers who allegedly defraud people lot of money using his name. Makamu says scores of people recently reported to have been defrauded by people who claimed to be MEC Makamu. A statement from the department issued by department spokesperson Hlekane Magwedze said the cases have been reported to the police.

“Any such complaints reported to our department are referred to the police ” said Magwedze He said members of the community must be wary of impostors and should know that the MEC does not ask for money.
