Two women surprise packages in mayoral races in Vhembe

Two women leaders Frieda Nkondo and Dorcus Mboyi have become surprise packages in mayoral races in Vhembe, both emerging victorious.
Frieda Nkondo is the new Vhembe District Municipality Executive mayor while Mboyi is the new Makhado Local Municipality mayor.

Meanwhile Minah Bahula has emerged victorious as the new executive mayor of Sekhukhune District Municipality.

These new developments have been announced in a statement by ANC provincial secretary following the ANC provincial meeting of 6th November. Madadzhe said the ANC was confident the mayoral candidates are amongst the best within the ANC’s ranks and they would deliver. Nkondo makes history as the first executive mayor from Malamulele.
