Another fire station closes due to Corona case
The Vuwani fire station has reportedly closed after an employee tested positive to the Covid -19 virus According to a statement from Vhembe District Municipality spokesman Matodzi Ralushai residents in Vuwani and surrounding areas will in the meantime be serviced by the Ramushwana and Makhado stations. Ralushai said the Municipality apologised for the inconvenience. He said that the district mayor Dowelani Nenguda wished the affected employee a speedy recovery.
The closure of this station in the Collins Chabane Local Municipality follows on the heels of the Greater Giyani fire station which was recently closed for the same reason and was reopened after protocol procedures were followed relating to Covid 19
