Major honour for dr Albert Jeleni

New honour for highly decorated Jeleni
Dr Jeleni is now a board member of South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Limpopo Chamber of Commerce President Dr Albert Jeleni’s hard work has not gone unnoticed.
He has been elected into the board of the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is no mean feat
Also elected to the board is another member of the Limpopo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ms Mphata Makakase.
Hailing Dr Jeleni’s election, the LCCI said: “This milestone reflects Dr Jeleni’s unwavering leadership, visionary commitment to inclusive economic development, and his dedication to advancing entrepreneurship, innovation, and private sector driven local economic development across South Africa.”
The statement further congratulated the two for their elections.

In 2024, continuing a pattern of resilience since the Convid ’19 economy pandemic. Similar strength was observed in 2022, when Limpopo achieved the strongest past-pandemic rebound and one of the smallest contractions during the crisis. This progress is the outcome of a deliberate long term strategy grounded in collaboration, research, and targeted exposure.”
Dr Jeleni boasts of PhD in Local Economic Development attained this year from the University of Venda.
He also boasts of an MSc in Industrial Systems Engineering attained at the University of Pretoria in 2007, a Masters in International Executive Development (GIBS, 2023) and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Industrial Systems (University of Witwatersrand in 2002).

Dr Jeleni is the founder president of the Limpopo Chamber of Business and Industries. He also served as the president of the National union of Municipal chamber of Commerce and Industry.
