Bishop HD Makhubele of the Full Gospel Church Charis Miracle Centre at Lombard Village at the Collins Chabane Local Municipality in Limpopo has expressed joy at the manner in which his church received him when he came back from a trip to the United States on a church mission.

Dr Makhubele was in the US to attend the annual Destiny Ministers Network conference.
This is an international convention for church leaders. Dr Makhubele preaches and conducts seminars at the event.
When he came back and went to church on Sunday, he found that his church had organised a surprise welcome event as well as his birth day party since the event coincided with his birth day event.

In the same event the church also celebrated the birth day of the oldest member of the church granny Nwa Jim Sambo who turned 101.
Mrs Khensani Mathebula who talked on behalf of the church said: “We organised the event to celebrate our doctor who flew to US. When he flew there he was in our prayers and we were praying him to be same. We were also excited when he came back safe and we thank God for that. We also wanted to celebrate his birth day. We are blessed as a church to have a leader of his calibre who is respected here and outside the country.
With the musical renditions the order of the day, the event was worth singing and dancing about.

“The event was great,”i s what he said, obviously at a loss for words.
Dr Makhubele is an author who has written seven books.
He is also a musician who has some musical CD’s to his name.
In 2019, he received the honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Theology degree from the American Bible University in the United States.
