Letaba High Water Bridge to be reopened
The Letaba High Water Bridge will be reopened on March 18, a few days later than it was originally planned.
The date of March 13 was initially planned.
According to a statement from SANParks, the change in dates was affected by the recent rainfall over the past week that resulted in the technical team losing production for three days.
The bridge, extensively damaged during the recent devastating floods, required extensive repairs, SANParks said.
“Measures have been put in place to accelerate the remaining work required to reopen the bridge,” said SANParks.
The recent floods affected much of Limpopo, Mpumalanga and the neighbouring Mozambique and the Kruger National Park was not spared.
