Attendees from 120 Micro, small and Medium Enterprises from the Western Cape benefitted a lot from the Information Sharing Workshop hosted by SANParks in conjunction with the Knysna Municipality. According to a statement from SANParks, the session was aimed at economic empowerment through MSME engagement. “MSME’s received guidance on SANParks and the municipality’s supply chain processes,including compliance, and regulatory standards to enhance eligibility for procurement opportunities. The session reinforced adherence to National Treasury regulations to promote fair, transparent and accountable procurement,’ said a statement from SANParks. MSME’s were allowed to engage directly with stakeholders, raise operational challenges and participate in structured network sessions with fellow service providers.
said SAParks in a statement:” The workshop forms part of SANParks’s broader enterprise and supplier development strategy, which aims to enhance local economic participation, improve compliance readiness, and increase access to procurement opportunities within SANParks.”
