Persisting weather conditions in both Mpumalanga and Limpopo has led to the Kruger National Park starting access gates for guests going to specific camps.This is to ensure guests use direct routes to access camps and do not travel on roads that are already closed. Access to Skukuza Rest Camp is recommended via Paul Kruger gate. Phabeni Gate is currently still closed but may be impacted at short notice due to the levels of the river.. Updates will be provided as to when it will be opened. Access to Malelane Satellite Camp and Berg and Dal Rest Camp is via Maelane Gate.. Access to Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp and Lower Sabie Rest Camp is via Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp. SANParks said that river levels are being monitored and updateswill be updated should a gate become inaccesible.Access to Orpen rest camp and Satara rest camp is via Orpen Gate. Access to olifants Rest camp.Letaba Rest Camp and Mopani rest camp is via Phalaborwa Gate or Orpen Gate. Both Pafuri Gate and Punda Maria Gate remain closed for now. Guests are notified that no access from Skukuza to Lower Sabie, Crocodile Bridge, Tshokwane and Satara as Sabie Lower Water Bridge and detours are flooded.
