Joy as Lombard Drop in Centre wins a voucher to assist destitute chidren

The management of Mtititi drop i Centre at Lombard village, ward 35 of Collins Chabane Local Municipality in Vhembe District, Limpopo Province, is agog after winning a R12 000 voucher in the competition of Shopriter in conjunction with I am 4 Change. Following the receipt of the voucher, both the manager Emily Sethole and secretary Venus Bilankulu expressed words of gratitude to Shoprite and I am 4 Change. “This will certainly make a huge difference in the lives of the children we are feeiding in the project,” said Bilankulu. The project boasts of 6 staffers who are caring for 100 vulnerable and destitute children. They feed them every day after school. They also teach them. The project is in dire need of donations from Good Samaritans to hel care for the kids from impoverished backgrounds. Lo,bard village under the Mtititi Traditional Council has approximately 600 households most of whom having no bread winners but surviving on social grants.
